Hired on what you proved.

Every grade, project, contest result and post you earn here goes on one record and moves you up one board. Companies post roles to that board and open the record behind every applicant. Your instructor runs the plan that gets you from the first application to the offer.

No roles open right now · the board is waiting for its first public record · applying needs a free student account

12 points to Proven · every point is a grade Nova gave or a thing the product recorded

An example with no one in it: the shape of every row on the board. Rank, band and points come from the record alone; nothing here is self-reported and nothing can be bought.

From enrolment to offer.

Five steps, in this order. Nothing on the way is a promise about a company we have not met; every step is a page you can open today.

  1. Step 1. Start the record

A free skill check opens it. A course or a bootcamp fills it: every lesson, exercise and project is graded by Nova and the grade stays.

  2. Step 2. Do the work that counts

Certification grades, graded projects, a public portfolio, posts in the community, a competition result. Six categories, each with printed points.

    What a point is for
  3. Step 3. Climb the board

The leaderboard ranks every public record by those points. Switch your record on and you are on it; employers read it top down.

  4. Step 4. Apply with the record

Companies post roles here. You apply in one step and the employer opens your graded record, your portfolio and your note. The job-hunt agent scores any posting against what you have proved.

  5. Step 5. Interview with someone behind you

Your hiring plan holds the targets, the gap maps, the weekly actions and the interview log. A bootcamp instructor runs it in the weekly 1-1; the agent runs mock interviews for the role before the real one.

What a point is for.

Six categories, printed here exactly as the board computes them. Caps keep volume from beating quality: forty replies cannot outrank one graded project.

The four bands

  1. Band 1. Starting0 to 49
  2. Band 2. Building50 to 149
  3. Band 3. Proven150 to 349
  4. Band 4. Standout350+

A band is a word an employer can scan; the points behind it are the record. The lessons under way, one graded project in a public portfolio and the record switched on is Building. A course finished with its certificate, four graded projects, a few posts and a contest entry is Proven. A bootcamp done in full, with an exam pass and a medal, is Standout.

Open roles.

Companies post roles here and every applicant arrives with their graded record. Nothing is open right now; the first role appears the day the desk publishes it.

No roles on the board right now.

Roles appear here the day the desk publishes them. Until then the job-hunt agent scores any posting you paste against your record.

Any posting from anywhere else: paste it into the job-hunt agent and it is scored against your record, with the CV drafted from graded work.

Hire from the record.

Post a role and every applicant arrives with the record behind them. Two ways to post, one conversation for a book of roles.

  • Open the record behind every applicant

Every graded project with its repo, every skill check, every contest result. Real code you can clone and run, not a claim on a CV.

  • Read the board top down

Every public record ranked by the same printed rubric. A band tells you at a glance; the points tell you why.

  • Verify a certificate in twenty seconds

A credential ID that resolves to the real completion. Nothing on a record here is self-reported.
