01The service
Square1 Ai provides an AI-powered tech education platform (the "Service"): skill checks, learning plans, lessons, AI-graded exercises, live bootcamps and project-based learning. The Service is provided by Square 1 AI (Pvt) Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed.
03What you agree to
- Give accurate information when you create your account.
- Keep your sign-in secure. Each account is for one person: do not share it.
- Use the Service lawfully. Do not abuse, hack, scrape or reverse-engineer any part of it.
- Do not submit harmful, offensive or illegal content in any answer, exercise or field.
- Do not try to game the AI grading.
04Intellectual property
Everything on the platform, including lessons, exercises, project briefs, AI feedback and our branding, belongs to Square1 Ai or its licensors.
You may use it for your own learning. You may not copy, share, sell or sublicense it without our written permission.
Your work is yours. The projects you build and the code you write stay your intellectual property. We claim no ownership of what you submit.
05Closing an account
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, behave abusively, or have been inactive for more than 24 months.
You can delete your account at any time by emailing tech@square1ai.com. Deleting data follows our Privacy policy.
06Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that any learning outcome, including a job, will follow.
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost data, profits or opportunities.
07Payments and refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly or as a single upfront payment, as chosen at checkout. Prices show in the currency of your region.
Refunds. If you are not satisfied, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion, pro rata for unused months. Email tech@square1ai.com to ask for one.
Cancelling. You can cancel a plan at any time. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for. There are no part-month refunds on cancellation.
Regional prices. A lower regional price is for people who live in that region and is checked against the country your payment card was issued in. A regional payment made with a card from elsewhere is refunded in full and the standard price offered instead. Giving a false region to get a price may mean access is withdrawn without a refund.
08AI-generated content
Parts of the Service use AI (Claude, by Anthropic) to grade exercises, give feedback and recommend what to learn. AI output can contain mistakes.
We do not guarantee AI feedback is accurate or complete. Use it as a learning aid, not as a final judgement of your ability. Your answers and code are processed by the Anthropic API and are not used to train AI models.
09Certificates
Certificates are issued when you complete a course or bootcamp. They are verified by Square1 Ai and show you completed the coursework. They are not a formal academic qualification or a professional certification, and no educational institution or professional body accredits them. They are evidence of the skills and projects behind them.
10Your GDPR rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under GDPR including access, correction, deletion and portability of your data. See our Privacy policy.
11Governing law
These Terms are an agreement with Square 1 AI (Pvt) Ltd, a company registered in Sri Lanka, and are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes go to the courts of Sri Lanka, unless consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
12Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will email you about any material change at least 14 days before it takes effect, and using the Service after that date counts as accepting it.
