Are there free AI or tech courses in Indonesia?

Digital Talent Scholarship (Digitalent), Komdigi: The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs' (Komdigi) national programme of free digital-skills training ("pelatihan digital gratis"), registered through digitalent.komdigi.go.id; academies include AI and data courses. Kartu Prakerja: Government training-cost aid ("bantuan biaya pelatihan"): recipients get a non-cash balance to buy approved courses, including digital-skills courses, plus an incentive after completing the first course. Square1 Ai's certification practice is free too: practice questions, timed mock exams and study plans for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CompTIA, Cisco, ISC2 and Claude exams.

Can I learn AI online in Indonesia while working full time?

Yes. Live sessions run on weekday evenings from 7 PM Jakarta time (WIB; 5:30 PM in Colombo), with full-day sessions at weekends. The work between sessions is graded by Nova, Square1 Ai's AI tutor, whenever you submit it. Plan for about fifteen hours a week across the twelve weeks.

Is it an accredited qualification, or a Prakerja training?

Neither. Square1 Ai's bootcamps are not accredited by the Indonesian education ministry or certified by BNSP, and they are not part of Kartu Prakerja, so they cannot be paid for with Prakerja funds. You leave with 10 deployed projects and a recorded defence of your work.

Does the bootcamp guarantee a job?

No. No placement rate is published because the first cohorts have not graduated. You leave with 10 projects an employer can open and run, a recorded defence of your work, and a hiring plan worked through with your instructor.
